We dispense NHS prescriptions which would be delivered to you and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.
This is a medicine check-up service, which is useful if you regularly take several prescription medicines or are on medicines for a long-term illness. This confidential NHS service will help you to find out more about your medicines, identify any problems you may be having with them and help you to take your medicines to best effect.

When you are prescribed a new medicine by your doctor our pharmacists can offer support and advice to ensure you take the new medication as prescribed without suffering any unwanted side effects or explain any further questions you may have. We usually do this by keeping in contact with you during the first 4 weeks of your new medicine being prescribed.
The service is only available for people living in England, and only for those who have been prescribed a new medicine for the conditions listed:

We can give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. And management of long-term conditions
We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. This is made easier by signing up to the Electronic Prescription service and nomination our pharmacy. Ask us for more information about this service.
We can direct you to other sources of advice, healthcare providers and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.
Making the decision to quit can be very challenging. Thankfully, there is plenty of support available to help you every step of the way, whether you want help setting goals, you need advice about managing cravings or you want support with your chosen quit method.
