Which conditions are covered by the Pharmacy First Service?

Online Pharmacies, also known as distance-selling pharmacies, can offer advice and treatment service for six common conditions under the NHS Pharmacy First Service. The consultations are offered through a video call and if a treatment is offered, it is delivered by post to your address in England. Eligibility criteria apply to each condition. How can you access the Pharmacy First Service?

If you have symptoms suggestive of one of the six conditions included in the Pharmacy First Service, you can book an appointment online. You may also be referred by your doctor surgery or another healthcare professional to a participating pharmacy for expert advice and treatment, if clinically appropriate. One of our pharmacists will have a consultation with you through a video call and offer advice and treatment, where clinically appropriate.
